EVILGARD

A broadside off Morgenwacht
Cannon fire hits your boat. You wake on the shore of Morgenwacht, where crates washed up on the beach hold the first clues to what is happening offshore. Follow the trail to the harbor, question the people on the docks, and find out who is blocking the channel. The search takes you back out to sea and behind pirate lines.
EVILGARD is a single-player fantasy RPG. Its story takes you from the first clues in the sand to a battle at sea. What the pirates leave behind raises new questions.
Companions you meet along the way
As the story unfolds, companions join your party. They fill familiar roles from classic MMORPGs: a tank draws enemy attention, a healer keeps the group alive, and damage dealers and support specialists round out the team. Your companions react on their own in battle. You can give them orders and coordinate your spells and abilities with their actions.
Stories beyond the main trail
Look into an old story told by a fisherman, or follow a trail to a cave after dark. In Morgenwacht, even a chance encounter can turn into a story of its own. Explore hidden places, find shinies for your collections, and uncover rare equipment. Now and then, EVILGARD shifts perspective or takes a detour into another genre. A narrator who knows a surprising amount about role-playing games occasionally chimes in.
