Sil-Morë — Shining Darkness

You're a great hero but who are you?
Sil-Morë is a tactical turn-based rogue-like role-playing game. You're one of the greatest heroes of the First Age and your task is to descend into Angband, the citadel of the Greatest Enemy, and bring back the Great Jewels from the Enemy's crown. Each run gets progressively harder as the Enemy bestows more and more curses upon you. Choose heroes, play to their strengths and employ clever strategies to deal with the ever-dwindling power of your characters as your true identity is gradually revealed over the course of the game.

Features
Descendant of the Angband family of games. Play an heir of a genre-defining old-school classic, created for the modern day.
Heroes of the First Age with distinct identities. Each hero is carefully thought out with lore in mind — and the game mechanics are made to follow, not the other way round. Sheer strength, weapon mastery, skillful smithing, or singing powerful songs — each hero has their own proficiency.
Tactical turn-based roguelike gameplay. Wipe whole levels of monsters or never kill a single orc — it's a choice which depends on your personal play style and on whatever your particular hero is good at. Devise clever tactics to overcome your enemies — or to slip past them, unnoticed.

Reverse rogue-lite progression built around getting weakened. Contrary to most rogue-likes, each successful run you get weaker, not stronger, as the Enemy gets angrier and curses you even harder. Plan your gameplay around it and choose heroes wisely as each hero can be played only once.
Curses, oaths, blessings, and storytelling. But if it becomes too hard, the Gods are to help. Each death contributes to a pool from which you can get blessed and helped with the next runs. And completing quests gives you powerful items and unique special abilities.

Sophisticated procedurally-generated maps. Discover orc fortresses, fiery forges, rivers and lava pools, dark ritual chambers, dragon caves, and many more, all having different architecture, environmental effects, loot, and visual styles.
Lore-shaped loot, artefacts, and dangerous equipment. You're in the citadel of the Enemy so don't expect nice Elvish swords lying around, those are actually hard to come by and are usually well guarded! Prepare to use whatever is at hand to survive, be it cursed orcish gear or items which can even hurt you!

Keyboard or mouse. Play with just a keyboard like an old-school player, or grab a drink in one hand and the mouse in the other — you can fully beat the game either way, no need to ever switch.
Handhelds and phones. The game supports a variety of devices, handhelds and phones included (currently limited to Android though). Zoom in during tough battles and zoom out to see more of the dungeon — never feel limited by the smaller phone screen.
