The Horror

The Horror is a survival horror game.

A game is a form of entertainment invented by fish or something a long time ago.
Its minimalistic approach may initially seem counter intuitive, but once engaged, it lifts the tension to new heights. The aim is to achieve a classic and effective horror atmosphere in as refined a form as possible. To create a charming, relaxing experience that makes you scream and cry. 
Think strategically as you move between a maze of labs, blocking doors, collecting survivors and out thinking, The Horror. The Horror is huge, fast, and terrifying to look at. Yes really. 

His horrifying form leaves little to the imagination and averts the gaze of even the most hardened. And his personality isnt even nice to make up for it, just an all around rotter.

Features:

A unique approach to 2d rendering, with a custom built lighting system specifically for The Horror. Because we just arent normal. 

Full 3d sound attenation. You'll hear him coming, but he'll hear you too. Just dont say anything too embarrasing. 

Robust, intelligent npc logic. The horror behaves like a wild, but tactical hunter, it listens, it patrols, and when it hears you…. it sprints. Luckily I run a lot, run outa fucks to give. Dont tell steam I swore. 

A full story with a variety of levels, mechanics and more. Never before done in gaming. Ever seen a game with story levels before? Thought not. 

"Be The Horror" mode to hunt down npcs, friends and your family. Play as the horror or have one of your friends do it and enjoy pretending to murder each other, over and over. Like well adjusted, civilized people do. 

"Containment" puzzle and strategy heavy game modes where tricking and trapping the horror is the only way to win. This mode is exceptionally difficult, offering real challenges for even the hardcore players. Not only must you outpace the horror, but you must cleverly design ways to contain him as you do. It's my personal favorite of the modes. Wait uh oh... our... our favorite. 

Rougue like game modes in which you have to get as far as you can in one life. It wont be far. Sorry.

Multiple maps and environments to play through. You can finally touch grass (warning no grass in game).

Classic retro 3d render styles allowing a full first person experience not unlike early doom graphics. Becuase even though I made a 2d top down game I decided to slap in 3d first person anyway. Thats something people do... right?

Access to dev underlying engine features. Because maybe I just didnt do a good enough job in your opinion.
