Nell, seven. Referred by her school.
Night terrors since January, every night. She wakes up screaming, and in the morning she won't say what she saw.
Three sessions, and not one word about it.
Next time I will give her paper and a pencil.

What do you see, Nell? is a horror survivors-like where everything you see is her drawing: the paper, the smudged charcoal, her room, the monsters, her powers, even the blood. It is not a game for children. It is what a frightened child draws when she can't stop seeing it.Survive the page

A night takes about 20 minutes
Something waits at the end
Each night is twelve pages, and every third one ends with something bigger. The page goes quiet, its name is written across it in red, and it comes out of the dark: the Teacher and her ruler, the Girl in the Bath, the Hat Man, the Tooth Fairy, and four more.

Fold it, and say what you see
Everything that bleeds on the page bleeds twice: every kill leaves a splat of ink or blood, and every splat has a twin across the fold. When the page ends it folds shut and opens again as an ink blot that looks back at her, and her doctor asks: what do you see, Nell?

Every answer is a rule for the next page, good and bad at once. hands makes her hit 40% harder, and fills the page with long hands. two of me makes every power happen twice, and gives everything on the page 70% more health.

When it's too much, call for Mom
The longer the page goes on, the more scared she gets. When she can't take any more, she screams for her mother: the door opens, the hall light floods the page, everything on it is hurt and thrown back, and that part of the page stays lit.

Five nights, and the mornings after
Five nights in 15 places: her room, the hallway, the woods, school, the bathroom, the basement, Grandma's house, the hospital, and worse

After every night the doctor writes a note, and keeps it in her file with everything she has drawn. Something happened in January, and Nell won't say what. Keep drawing, and she will show you.
