A PRECISION PLATFORMER WITH A MOUTH ON IT
Rage Trip is a pixel-art platformer about saws, flames, spikes and tight jumps. Every death gets a prerecorded voice taunt picked for what just happened: a near miss, a spike, a cherry you were so sure you had. The hazards are always visible. Clearing them is the hard part, and it feels great when you finally do.
THREE WAYS TO PLAY
Shared Fate - 2–4 players, online or LAN. If anyone dies, everyone restarts, so every jump is a team decision. Teammates are solid and can get in your way. The whole team has to get through in the same attempt.
Friend Race - 2–4 players race to the finish. Deaths only reset you, so you respawn and keep running. Finish first, then spectate the rest of the field.
Solo - Learn each hazard, refine your route and beat your personal-best times. Track your deaths and run stats, and see how much faster the next attempt is.
THE MOMENTS YOU PLAY FOR
Clearing the jump you failed twenty times.
Getting the whole team through Shared Fate in one attempt.
Beating your own best time.
Unlocking a new animated skin, or going for the Rage King crown: the whole solo campaign without a single death.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND ANIMATED SKINS
20 Steam achievements across Solo, Shared Fate and Friend Race, each with a taunting name, like “You Ruined My Entire Script” (finish the solo campaign without dying) and “Friendship Pending Review” (finish the Shared Fate campaign).
Skins are animated and earned by playing: some are bought with cherries collected in-game, and some are rewards for achievements.
Rage King: beat the whole solo campaign without dying. Not once. We call it impossible. Prove us wrong.
Team Liability: complete the Shared Fate campaign.
Photo Finish: finish first in a Friend Race level with zero deaths in that level.
No microtransactions.
