About This Game
Keep an Eye is a single-player 2D story adventure that combines detective work, stealth, timed minigames, and real-time combat in a city inhabited by robots.
You play as Tom, a robot private detective hired to investigate suspicious partners, hidden income, and behavior that does not add up. Accept cases at your office, follow leads to locations around the city, gather evidence, and report your findings to clients for payment.
A client's suspicions are only the beginning. As your investigations unfold, seemingly ordinary personal disputes lead to increasingly dangerous secrets.
Find your target. Follow their routine.
Use a reference photo to identify your target among a crowd of robots in a timed search minigame. Then control Tom as he follows them through the city. Watch your distance and their alert level. When they are about to look back, transform into your disguise and remain still to avoid detection.
Get the evidence your client needs.
Each case calls for different investigative methods. Capture sound waves in a listening minigame to complete a recording, take photographs at key moments, and attempt to breach connected network nodes before the hacking timer runs out. Some cases also require you to install surveillance equipment and return later to retrieve the results.
Spotting suspicious behavior is only part of the job. You still need evidence to bring back to your client.
Plan your investigations and upgrade Tom.
Pay attention to the locations and schedules described in your cases. Some leads require daytime visits, nighttime surveillance, or weekend investigations.
Earn money from completed work and accumulate upgrade points through experience. Visit the repair shop to fix damage and improve your investigative abilities: increase hacking success rates, gain more recording progress from captured sound waves, or expand your field of view while disguised. Balance spending on upgrades with the cost of keeping Tom in working order.
Be ready when a case turns dangerous.
Some people would rather keep their secrets. Switch to Tom's combat form for real-time encounters, move into punching range, and reposition to avoid attacks. Story sequences also include stealth escapes, where you must watch guards and use your disguise to reach safety.
Uncover the private lives of a robot city.
The campaign spans 16 story missions and a final chapter, exploring relationships, money, memory, and identity. Meet different clients and investigation targets, then discover what lies behind their behavior through dialogue, evidence, and case aftermaths.
Hand-drawn-style environments and distinctive robot characters bring a dark, eccentric city to life. After completing the story, start New Game+ with your money and ability upgrades carried over.
