Matchy Star is a colorful puzzle adventure that twists classic match-3 gameplay into something faster, stranger, and more strategic.
Instead of matching anywhere you want, every move is shaped by your ship’s flight path. Plan ahead, collect the right stars, chain together big matches, and keep your bubbly little ships moving through a giant galaxy of puzzle challenges.
Travel from Star Base all the way to the legendary Xanadu, meeting a cast of goofy cosmic friends, derpy stars, stylish ships, and powerful items along the way.
Match Stars. Power Ships. Reach Xanadu.
Your ships,  Zippy, Skippy, and Bob, each follow their own path through space. To move forward, you need to match stars along the route, extend your range, and collect enough power to survive the journey.
The better your matches, the stronger your run becomes. Big chains, smart planning, and the right item combinations can turn a humble little ship into the fanciest hero in the galaxy.
Build Your Perfect Space Swag
Collect items with stat boosts to customize your ships and improve your chances. Grab crowns, monocles, beards, swords, and other ridiculous cosmic gear. Your ships are fancy. They are special. They deserve proper swag.
Items can affect your score, speed, fuel, buffer alerts, and other important stats, giving each run its own personality and strategy.
Meet the Matchyverse Crew
Zippy is the biggest and slowest ship, but he makes up for it by baking the best cookies in space. Skippy is mid-sized, speedy, and holds the record for eating the most cookies in under a minute. Bob is the smallest and fastest, and for reasons nobody understands, he likes burnt cookies.
Along the way, they are joined by familiar faces from the Matchyverse, including Matchy Star, Spacey Galaxy, Speedy Sputnik, Doctor UFO, Guru Moon, and Pirate Planet.
A Cute Puzzle Game With Real Strategy
Matchy Star is cheerful, silly, and easy to enjoy, but later levels will test your planning. Power-ups, ship stats, items, and star collection all matter as the journey gets tougher.
Features include:
Classic match-3 inspiration with a path-based twist

Try to complete a run through a randomly generated path of different planets, and procedurally generated and pre-designed levels, buffs, and debuffs.

Collect all the items; each one has a unique effect on how the game plays, like bonuses to movement or matches of different shapes.

Three playable ships: Zippy, Skippy, and Bob

Big chains, score bonuses, power-ups, and strategic item choices

A bright, silly, cozy world full of cosmic nonsense
