Train Simulator: Tirol: Brenner - Kufstein Route Add-On

Forming a connection between the Italian railway network at Verona and the Austrian network at Innsbruck, the Brennerbahn is an electrified line which crosses the valleys and passes of the Italian-Austrian border. Brenner station stands at a lofty 1,371 metres above sea level, making it the highest point on both the Austrian ÖBB network and the Italian FS network.

This route add-on recreates 150km of this historic line between Brenner in Italy and Kufstein near the Austrian-German border. Motive power for the Brenner – Kufstein route for Train Simulator is provided by the ÖBB 1016 electric locomotive, which is a member of the ES 64 ‘Euro Sprinter’ family of locomotives produced by Siemens. Operating on 15kV AC power, the ÖBB 1016 can haul both freight and passenger services over the challenging grades and tight curves of the Brenner – Kufstein route.Included Scenarios
